DANIEL O'BRIEN is an artist, writer, and editor from New York. His creative work has recently appeared in The American Literary Review, Banango Street, BLOOM, The Boiler, Foundry, Prelude, Public Pool, and Tinderbox Poetry Journal, among others. He was the recipient of the Helen Earnhart Harley Creative Writing Fellowship from The Ohio State University, where he earned his MFA and served as Poetry + Content Editor for The Journal and Managing Editor for the The Journal/OSU Press Book Prize Series. He has been named runner-up for The American Literary Review Poetry Contest and the Red Hen Press Poetry Award. Forthcoming work will appear in Boston Review and Vinyl.
He currently lives in Manhattan and works as a freelance editor and consultant for creative writers.
